A fantastic weekend working on Velothon Wales 2016 in Cardiff.  Redhead AV worked the sound cabin on the finish straight near City Hall.  The atmosphere was great with sunshine, music, commentary and the spectators and cyclists being interviewed along the 300m finishing straight and VIP area.

Some 15000 participating cyclists crossed the start line near Cardiff Castle on Sunday morning hoping to complete the 140km course on closed roads.  The professionals took to the road in the afternoon covering 194km on the same roads with some extra gruelling hill climbs.  The professional race was won by Tom Stewart racing for Madison Genesis in a time of just 4hrs 20 minutes

On Saturday the youth circuit series took place on closed roads around the centre of Cardiff.  Great to see the professionals of tomorrow taking part!
